Our Lady Star of the Sea is closed all Saturday while the floor is resealed; the 9:15 AM Mass on Sunday goes ahead.
All Saints falls on Sunday this year, so the usual Sunday times stand. Daylight saving ends overnight: set clocks back an hour on Saturday.
Masses for the dead at 8:30 AM and 7:15 PM at St Columba's. The November Book of Remembrance is out by the font in all three churches.

Advent wreaths at St Brigid's
Families make their wreath in the St Brigid's hall the Saturday before Advent; frames and candles $6 at the door.

On Saturday, November 21, the St Brigid's hall turns into a workshop from 10:20 AM until lunch. Bring greenery from the yard (fir, holly, ivy) and garden gloves. Wire frames and the four candles, three violet and one rose, are $6 a set at the door.
Children under ten need an adult with them. The religious education teachers explain what each candle stands for while the glue guns heat up.
