Ask
Fr Tomasz Nowak
Sign up in ninth grade. The program runs two school years, with one evening a month and a weekend retreat in the second year. Adults prepare with the OCIA group instead.
Choose a sponsor. The same rules as for a godparent: at least 16, confirmed, practicing. The baptismal godparent is a good choice if possible.
Choose a confirmation name: a saint whose life means something to you. Candidates write a page about the saint for Fr Tomasz.
Serve. Twenty hours with a parish group over the two years: the food shelf, the soup lunch, the choir, the altar servers.
The day itself. The bishop confirms at St Columba's on Saturday, April 24, 2027, at 11:30 AM. Bring your baptism certificate if you were baptized elsewhere.
